Rainbow RV Resort on Lake Tanwax is nestled in the NW foothills of Mt. Rainier. We are a year-round full service RV park with great fishing facilities including a 170-foot handicap accessible dock, rental boats, fishing and swimming pontoons and many other great amenities. We are a year round fishing lake as well. We are also an excellent home base for many area attractions including NW Trek Animal Preserve, Mt. Rainier, the Elbe Steam Train, Pt. Defiance Zoo and Aquarium and much more.

Proud Parents: Each year we raise 18,000 - 25,000 rainbow trout in our net pen. They are hand-fed and pampered until we release them in Spring. On any visit to our park you may see deer grazing on the property, bald eagles and osprey flying about, an occasional heron, mink, otter or beaver around the lake and at night hear the wolves howling at NW trek.
